OUR MISSION

Cinderella's Closet provides formal wear to girls free of charge who could not otherwise afford to attend their prom. Through donations of new or gently used formal dresses and accessories, we want to turn dresses into dreams for Junior and Senior high school girls who are referred to our organization by their school counselor, community organization, social care agency, or clergy. Even more than a dress, Cinderella's Closet provides an unforgettable and amazing experience. From the moment our Princesses will dance through our doors, they will be shown respect, love, and kindness through each volunteer. We call each girl a Princess because that is what she is...the daughter of our King, our Heavenly Father. We also strive to promote self esteem and confidence in these young women while surrounding them with positive role models. We hope to grant wishes, make memories, and celebrate the  beauty and diversity of these young women in the Rio Grande Valley.

Cinderella's Closet is open for one weekend each spring at Our Savior Lutheran Church in McAllen, TX.
